DIRECT SERVICE WORKFORCE INVESTMENT GRANT ATTESTATION

Amicus is among many providers of HCBS that agreed to participate in the Indiana Family and Social Services Agency’s Direct Service Workforce Investment Grant program. The Indiana FSSA will be distributing $131M in funds to all HCBS providers to empower them to help impact their direct service workforce. Amicus will use the funds received to impact its direct service workforce in the following ways during this calendar year of 2023:

LOCATION

If a staff agrees to work in a short-staffed area, he/she will receive $75 dollars after 30 days, $75 after 60 days, $150 after 90 days, $75 after 120 days, $75 after 150 days, $150 after 180 days.

WRAPAROUND

On February 1st, anyone who has been with AMICUS for a year without corrective action gets a $150 bonus, for 6 months without corrective action, gets a $75 bonus, and for less than 6 months gets a $50 bonus.

RETRAINING

For any staff that completes his/her annual training by the designated date, that staff will receive a $50.00 bonus. Any staff who completes his/her initial training for Therap by the designated date, will receive a $50.00 bonus.

REFERRAL

$300.00 bonus for referrals, set to pay out at $150.00 after 3 months, and an additional $150.00 after 6 months. Staff must have no corrections actions, no call offs, never late and all training and required paperwork submitted to be eligible. New hire must also comply by the same stipulations to receive the bonus. New hire must mention the staff referring them at time of hire to be eligible.

SIGN ON BONUS

Sign on bonus for those who have been referred set to pay out at $150.00 after 3 months, and an additional $150.00 after 6 months. Staff must have no corrections actions, no call offs, never late and all training and required paperwork submitted to be eligible. Staff must mention referral at time of hire to be eligible
